ACA Tracking and Reporting
To comply with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting requirements, employers designated as an Applicable Large Employer (ALE), with 50 or more Full Time Equivalent (FTE) employees, need to file forms 1094-C and 1095-C with the IRS.
These forms are used to report information required about offers of health coverage and employee enrollment. As part of the IRS Code, Section 6056, forms 1094C and 1095C must be filed with the IRS annually, no later than February 28th of the following year for every ALE group. Employees must receive a copy of their 1095C on or before January 31st the following year.
