California has revised the “Notice to Employee” form (DSLE-NTE) to include information about the new Paid Sick Leave Law. Employers are required by law to provide all new employees with a “Notice to Employee” at the time of hiring. The form provides specific information about the employer, wages, Workers’ Compensation and, now, Paid Sick Leave. The new form went into effect January 1 of this year. Be sure you are using the latest revision (rev 11/2014) for your new hires and discard any previous versions. You can obtain the updated form on our website or from the Division of Labor Standards & Enforcement (DSLE) website.
